This policy describes information handled by the Recall Harbor: CNA Prep iOS app and its support forms. The app is an independent study aid. It does not provide medical care or clinical guidance.

Study information in the app

Study activity and preferences can include review grades and their dates, scheduling and readiness state, bookmarks, study settings, reminder preferences, and progress. The app also stores decks and card reports that you import or create. These materials are used to provide the study features you request.

The app stores study information on your device. Builds configured for iCloud can also synchronize user-state information through CloudKit in your private iCloud account. The app does not operate its own user account or application server for study data. If CloudKit is unavailable, the app can use local storage; successful local use does not mean that synchronization occurred. iCloud availability, account settings, and Apple's handling of iCloud data are governed by Apple's terms and privacy information.

Feedback and content reports you choose to submit

If you submit one of the forms on this site, the information you enter is sent to the app operator and stored in the site's Netlify Forms dashboard so the operator can review and respond to support requests or investigate reported card content. The general support form asks for a category and message; email is optional. The content issue form also includes a card ID; email is optional. Do not include patient information, passwords, payment information, or other sensitive information.

Netlify processes and stores submitted form information for the site operator. Submissions remain in the dashboard until the operator deletes them. No automatic deletion schedule has been set. To ask the operator to locate or delete a submission, use the support form and provide enough context to identify it. Providing an email address is optional, but without contact information the operator may be unable to follow up.

Netlify also stores technical submission metadata, including the IP address, referring page, and browser user agent. Netlify uses Akismet to filter form submissions for spam. These services process information to deliver and protect the support forms. See Netlify’s explanation of form spam filtering.

Typing into a form does not submit its message or contact fields. When you open a page, the hosting provider receives ordinary web request metadata. A card-report link from the app includes the card ID and category in the page address; it never includes the in-app note or email address. Form fields are sent to the operator only if you submit the form. The app does not transfer your in-app draft, note, or email address automatically.

Analytics and diagnostics

The app's default analytics implementation does not send study events to an analytics or advertising service. The app includes operating-system logging for diagnostics; its analytics logger filters event properties and is not configured as a remote analytics service. Apple may separately receive information when you use Apple services such as iCloud, the App Store, or StoreKit, under Apple's policies.

Purchases

Optional subscriptions, if offered in your version of the app, are processed by Apple through StoreKit. The app reads Apple's product and entitlement results to provide access. Payment details are handled by Apple.

Feedback drafts and sharing

General feedback text is held in the feedback screen while it is open and may be lost when you close it. Card reports are saved on your device when you tap Save. You may choose to share either using another app, or copy details into the web forms. The app does not send a draft to the operator automatically. Information shared through another app is handled by the destination you select.

Notifications

Study reminders and question notifications use local iOS notifications. The app does not configure remote push delivery in the current release configuration.

Deletion and retention

The app currently has no in-app control to erase all study data or request deletion of synchronized data. Removing the app may remove its local app data under iOS behavior, but this app does not send a corresponding request to purge records from your private iCloud database. iCloud data is managed through Apple and your account settings. Exported files and drafts shared with another app may remain wherever you save or send them.

Support and content issue form submissions remain in Netlify's dashboard until the app operator deletes them; no automatic retention period is configured. Use the support form to request deletion of a form submission.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when app behavior changes. The date above identifies the latest revision.
